Doug Holloway MSGD - PGDip (Dis) BA (Hons)
Doug Holloway cmli – msgd – chartered landscape architect and registered member society of garden designers – is a passionate about design. There are very few people who have professional designer accreditation, as well as the craftsman’s skills to be able to actually construct and plant the landscapes they have designed. Doug Holloway is one such person and proud of how his experience informs his intuitive design approach. He is as at home sketching by hand, using Autocad (computer aided design) to create highly accurate engineering drawings, constructing a complex architectural feature by hand, or moving and positioning plants to create the layouts on site for a complex scheme. Having built a garden design and construction company from the ground up -after 5 years of a degree and PGDip in landscape architecture- he provides a professional service, using a craftsman’s skills and a horticulturalists understanding of place creation. Besides gardens, he enjoys time with his wife and daughter, walking in the wild, surfing, writing, photographing and cooking. He is also passionate about the wild, sea life and the environment.
“I believe that professionalism, care and consideration for the places and the people I work with, skill, knowledge, and imagination, come together to create successful new places.”
